Details for ELITE CAMP
August 6, 2022
Camp Check-In is 11:00-11:45 am at the Thomas Assembly Center
1650 West Alabama, Ruston, LA 71270

1)  LOCATION - We will be utilizing the Thomas Assembly Center (our arena) and Memorial Gym (our Practice gym).  Memorial Gym is a short drive from the TAC and we will provide bus transportation to campers to Memorial Gym if you do not have your own transportation. 
2) CAMP CHECK-IN - Camp check-in will be from 11:00 - 11:45 am at the Thomas Assembly Center (1650 West Alabama Ave.) There is no need to bring a copy of the medical waiver or a copy of your insurance card if you completed your registration online. You have already "electronically signed" the medical waiver.  Campers will receive their camp t-shirt at check-in. Please bring any remaining payments you may have to check-in if you haven't fully paid online.  Camp will start at 12:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. 
3) ATTIRE and GEAR - Please wear appropriate basketball workout gear and shoes. We ask that you change into your court shoes once you have entered your camp gym. We will have areas to keep any backpacks or gear safe during camp. 
4) PARENTS/COACHES/SPECTATORS - We ask that parents/spectators/high school coaches attending the camp sit in the seating above the courts in either gym. Non-campers will not be allowed on the playing courts on Saturday. 
5) WATER/FOOD- We will provide water and Gatorade in separate paper cups for each camper during the camp. You may bring your own water bottle if you choose.  We will have areas to keep them safe during camp.  We will not be providing any meals or snacks during the camp.

​Camp is open to girls who will be in the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2022. 
Instruction, activities, and supervision will be by grade and individual skill level. We recommend this camp for experienced varsity level players or high level travel ball programs. 
 
Elite camp emphasizes high level skill development and is designed for the aspiring college player. We will work within position specific groups. There will be detailed instruction on shooting, offensive moves, reading defenses, ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork, defense, and rebounding.
 
Campers will participate in a variety of individual competitions and 4 on 4 skill development games.

Campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
 
Registration will take place from 11 am-11:45 am at the Thomas Assembly Center. Do not arrive earlier than 11 am.  Camp will end at 5 pm.  Please bring your signed medical/liability waiver form and a copy of your insurance card if you haven’t provided information during online registration. 

Gatorade and Water will be provided throughout the camp. Lunch will not be provided. 

No gum is allowed in the gym. Food and drinks are not allowed in the gym. Players may bring a screw top bottle with a drink such as a Dasani water bottle.

Players must wear basketball shoes with non-marking soles for camp. ​    

Details for Day Camp
June 20-24, 2022

​Camp is open to girls and boys entering grades K-6 in the fall of 2022.
Camp will go from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm every day at the Thomas Assembly Center!

Campers will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball.

Registration will take place from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm on Monday, June 20th at The Thomas Assembly Center.  Please bring any outstanding balance and your signed medical waiver form and copy of insurance card if you haven’t provided information during online registration. 

There will be “closing ceremonies” and awards presentations starting 4:00 pm on Friday, the last day of camp. 

Please do not drop off campers for camp before 12:30 pm and have someone ready to pick up your campers at 4:30 pm every day. 

Concession Stand – we will have a small concession stand with water, sports drinks, t-shirts, and small snacks available during camp breaks. Parents may send snacks with their children, but we are unable to keep them refrigerated.

Camp Bank. We will also have a “camp bank” so that campers will have money available to them during the camp without having to keep track of it themselves. Parents can put a set amount of money in the camp bank during registration for the camp to draw from that amount at the concession stand during the week without having to carry cash at camp. 

Clothing for camp. Campers need to wear gym shoes (non-marking soles) to camp each day. Campers should wear shorts and a t-shirt they are comfortable playing and sweating in. Campers will receive a camp t-shirt during registration and we ask the campers to wear the camp t-shirt on the last day (Friday) of camp. 

Theme Days – We will have a “theme” each day of camp as we share about our programs Core Values. Starting on Tuesday of the camp, we will give campers the option to wear certain fun clothing items each day that tie into our theme for the day.

Monday, June 20 – 1st day of camp. We will talk about our HARD HAT award and what it means to earn a Hard Hat by being a great teammate! No special theme clothing for the day. Campers will receive their camp t-shirt today, but are not required to wear it until Friday.

Tuesday, June 21 – Campers can wear their favorite sports team t-shirt/shorts. We will talk about BEING A GREAT TEAMMATE!

Wednesday, June 22 – Campers can wear their favorite cartoon/super hero’s shirt/shorts. We will talk about BEING COACHABLE!

Thursday, June 23 – Crazy Socks Day!   We will talk about our team’s core value COMPETING AND GIVING GREAT EFFORT!
 
Friday, June 24 – Last Day of Camp. Campers will wear their camp t-shirt. We will talk about our team’s core value FAMILY

Details for DEVELOPMENTAL CAMP
June 27-29, 2022 (1:30-4:00 pm each day)

The perfect camp for your junior high and high school girl who wants to make their school's team and improve! ​Camp is open to girls who will be in the 6th-12th grade in the fall of 2021. 

Camp will run from 1:30-4:00 pm every afternoon at The Thomas Assembly Center on the campus of Louisiana Tech. 
​
Instruction, activities, and supervision will be by grade and individual skill level. This will be a very fundamental skill development camp designed for junior high & high school players.  
 
Offensive skills camp emphasizes the development of scoring, passing and dribbling skills. There will be detailed instruction on shooting, fundamental & advanced offensive moves, reading defenses, ball handling, passing, dribbling, and scoring footwork from the perimeter and post areas.  Campers will participate in a variety of individual competitions and 4 on 4 skill development games.

Campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
 
Registration will take place from 1-1:30 pm at The Thomas Assembly Center concourse level.  Do not arrive earlier than 1 pm.    Please bring your signed medical/liability waiver form and a copy of your insurance card if you haven’t provided information during online registration. 

Lunch will not be provided.

Refunds

Refunds for day camp and elite camp (minus the deposit) may be given if contacted prior to the starting day of camp. Refunds will not be given for sickness or missing days during camp.
